I started by studying how Ulta used their branding. What colors they used, what products they sold, what their models looked like within social media and in magazine, etc. Then I created moodboards and studied makeup photography. From there I took photos of some models using Ulta Beauty products. Then came the fun part of designing the layout for the magazine!
